Recommended Joy

Suggested for you again / Opened the feed before sunrise / Colorful clips and glittering smiles / Somebody dancing in a kitchen / Somebody posting vacation miles / The system thinks I’m in the mood / For bright balloons and party tunes / But I’m just staring at the ceiling / Counting seconds in my room / Every swipe says I’m okay / Every headline says I’m great / But the numbers got it wrong / Somewhere deep inside the code / The algorithm thinks I’m happy / Serving sunshine on repeat / Little fireworks and laughter / Looping endlessly for me / But the system never noticed / All the cracks behind my screen / If it really understood me / Would it show me what I need / Loading loading / Endless reels of perfect mornings / Bright confetti afternoons / Everybody glowing softly / Living curated cartoon / Meanwhile I’m a quiet window / Watching strangers celebrate / Trying not to click another / Video about escape / Maybe I trained it accidentally / Every time I forced a grin / Pressed the heart on someone’s story / While the walls were closing in / Now it thinks I love the circus / Every sparkling highlight show / But it never reads the silence / In the moments in between / The algorithm thinks I’m happy / Serving sunshine endlessly / Golden beaches dancing faces / All the joy it thinks I need / But the code can’t read a heartbeat / Or the thoughts I never show / So it sends another rainbow / While I quietly implode / Suggested again tomorrow
