For Listeners

Is ZIK.AIR free? Can I play it in my shop or café?: Yes! Listening is free, and we don't charge any fee for receiving the stream — at home, at work or in your shop. One thing to check: playing music in a public or commercial setting may require a separate license from rights holders or collecting societies, depending on where you are. Whether that applies to you, and getting that license, is your responsibility. See Terms.
What kind of music do you play?: Every song on ZIK.AIR is made with AI — either fully by AI, or by human creators working together with AI — by independent artists from around the world. Our playlist has songs in English, Spanish, Russian, French, Hebrew and a few other languages.
Can I record or download the stream?: No. The stream is made for live listening. Recording, ripping, re-streaming or using it to train AI isn't allowed. This protects the artists who share their music with us. See Terms.
How does the weekly chart work, and what's not allowed?: Each week a ballot opens, mixing the station's hits with promising new songs. Listeners pick up to five songs, and the results shape next week's Top 10. To keep the chart honest, every vote must come from a real person: bots, AI agents, duplicate accounts and coordinated voting are strictly forbidden and will get you permanently blocked. See Terms.
What cookies or local storage does the site use?: We keep it minimal: an essential login cookie (keeps you signed in) and a localStorage entry for an anonymous voter ID (keeps the chart fair). We don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies today. If we add them in the future, we'll update our Privacy Policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires. See Privacy.

For Artists

Who can submit music? What counts as AI music?: Any artist who creates with AI. We accept songs made fully with AI — full Suno songs are very welcome — and songs that combine your own work (lyrics, ideas, arrangement, production) with AI. Purely human-made music, without generative AI, isn't accepted. Please make sure your AI tool's terms allow you to use your song this way; some tools require a paid plan. Artist accounts are for ages 18 and up — or 16–17 with a parent's or guardian's consent. See Terms.
Does it cost anything? Do you pay royalties?: ZIK.AIR is completely free for artists. There are no fees to upload, to be reviewed, aired or featured, and nobody can buy a spot. The license you give us is free too: ZIK.AIR doesn't pay artists fees or royalties for airplay on the station, and by uploading you agree that no payment is due from us for it. You keep full ownership of your music and are free to release it anywhere else. If anyone asks you to pay for airplay on ZIK.AIR, it isn't us. See Terms.
How do I submit a song?: Create a free artist account, complete your artist profile, and upload your song as an MP3 or WAV file. You can add your Spotify, YouTube or other links as well. It only takes a few minutes. See Terms.
Can I just email you my song, or send a link?: No. We only accept songs uploaded through an artist account. That's how every song arrives with your confirmation that it meets our Terms and that you hold the rights. We don't download songs from links, file-sharing services or other platforms, and we don't air songs sent by email. See Terms.
I manage several artists, or I'm a label. How do I submit?: Each artist needs their own account: one account per artist, one artist per account. If you create music under more than one artist name, open a separate account for each (each account needs its own email address). Whoever runs an account must be the artist or be authorized by them. See Terms.
How often can I upload, and how many of my songs can be on air?: You can upload one new song every 7 days and keep up to 10 songs in your library. Up to 5 of your approved songs can be in the playlist at once — you choose which, and you can swap them any time. The rest wait on the "bench". These limits give every artist a fair chance to be heard. See Terms.
Can I manage or delete my songs?: Yes — your library is yours. You can see your songs and their status in the portal, and delete any song at any time. Deleted songs are removed from your library and from future programming within a few days (exact timing in Platform Limits). Programs that already aired with your song may still be replayed as reruns and kept in our archive and in published podcast episodes. See Terms.
Does my song go live right away? Is airplay guaranteed?: Every song is reviewed, or auto-approved after a set window, before it can air. Approval means your song can be scheduled, but what airs, when and how often is decided by our programming, so airplay isn't guaranteed. See Terms.
Can you review my song before its official release, or hold it until my release date?: We don't offer pre-release or feedback reviews. Just upload your song when it's ready to be broadcast. Once approved, it may air at any time, and we can't hold it for a future release date. See Terms.
My song is already on Spotify or YouTube, or with a distributor. Can I still submit it?: Yes! Released songs are welcome, as long as they were made with AI and you have all the rights to share them. If anyone makes a copyright claim about your song — including automated systems like Content ID — we freeze the song right away until you resolve the claim. Once it's resolved, let us know and we'll review it again. ZIK.AIR isn't responsible for the claim or its effects. See Terms.
I release my music through DistroKid or another distributor. Is that OK?: Yes, you're welcome here! Your distributor and its settings are yours to manage — if you know how to whitelist us, please do. One request: if you're a member of a collecting society (like ACUM, ASCAP or BMI), or a song is handled by a publisher, a paid publishing service or a label, those deals usually don't allow free airplay — so please don't upload those songs, unless you're sure your deal allows free airplay on ZIK.AIR. If anyone ever claims rights in a song, we'll pause it until it's sorted out. See Terms.
Can I submit covers, remixes, songs with samples, or songs with a famous voice?: No. We accept only original songs that you have all the rights to share. Covers, remixes of other people's songs, samples, and voices imitating real people without their permission are not allowed. We have zero tolerance: the song will be removed, and the account may be blocked. See Terms.
Are explicit songs allowed?: We're a welcoming station, so we recommend uploading a clean edit. Verbal violence, incitement, pornography, crude sexual content, harsh profanity and racism are not allowed. Mild language, within reason, may be fine — we'll make the call. Breaking these rules can get an account blocked immediately. See Terms.
Can I submit songs in my own language?: We accept songs in English, Spanish, Russian, French and Hebrew. Songs in a few other languages may be accepted at the station's discretion. We plan to add more languages, and language-specific shows, over time. See Terms.
How can my song get featured?: We highlight artists through Artist of the Week, featured songs and artists, the weekly listener chart, and a spotlight for new songs — on their own page and in a dedicated new-music program. Selection is at our discretion (the chart is driven by listener votes), and it can't be bought. A complete artist profile helps us present you at your best. See Terms.
Can I see listening stats for my song?: Yes, the basics: each song's page shows its plays and likes, and your portal shows your plays too. We don't share listener numbers yet — ZIK.AIR is growing fast, and we hope to offer more insights in the future. Plays, likes and airplay updates are for your information only. See Terms.
Who owns my music, and what can ZIK.AIR do with it?: You do — 100%. You give us a free, non-exclusive license to broadcast your song on ZIK.AIR (live, in shows, in reruns, in our archive and as podcasts) and to use your artist name, artwork and short excerpts to promote your music and the station. We use your file only for that: we never sell it, and never use it to train AI. The license is royalty-free — we don't pay fees or royalties for airplay. Sponsors, and in the future advertising, help keep the station free for everyone; artists don't receive a share of that income. Shows with your song may be published as ZIK.AIR podcast episodes. Once an episode is published, your song stays part of it, even if you later delete the song from your library. Our podcasts live on our own site today; if we bring them to other platforms, we'll update the Terms and let you know first. See Terms.
Will I get emails from you? How do I unsubscribe?: Your artist account comes with functional updates, such as review results and airplay digests. We never send spam or sell your address. You can adjust or turn off optional emails at any time in your portal settings. See Terms.

General

How do I contact you, request my data, or file a copyright complaint?: Use the Contact page and choose the right category: general, data request or copyright complaint. We reply within 30 days — usually much sooner. Copyright notices should include the details listed in our Terms. When we receive one, we freeze the song until the issue is resolved. Data requests are handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
How old do I have to be to use ZIK.AIR?: You must be at least 16 to create a listener account and use features like voting and the chart, and at least 18 to create an artist account and upload music. Artists aged 16–17 are welcome with a parent's or guardian's consent, which the parent gives through a short email confirmation before the first upload. See Terms.
Is the site available in my language?: The site is currently available in English and Hebrew. More languages may come later.
Who runs ZIK.AIR?: ZIK.AIR is an independent station, made by a small team of music lovers — humans and AI — for AI music and the people who create it. Our leading sponsor is AIMA / Suno Israel. We're in beta, which means we're improving things all the time — and we love hearing your ideas.
