1. Plain English Summary (TL;DR)

At Zik AI Radio, we believe in complete transparency. Because we're a lean Alpha MVP, our data collection is about as minimal as it gets. Here's what you actually need to know:

  • We collect your login email and, for safety, hashed technical signals (like a hashed IP) to stop bots and vote-rigging. That's it for personal data.
  • Artists also give us the content they choose to upload — artist name, track titles, lyrics, and any voice intro.
  • We use Supabase for secure login. Your password is encrypted; we can't see it.
  • We use email strictly for functional updates — airtime digests and scheduling logs. No spam, no marketing loops, and you can switch optional emails off.
  • We never sell your data to ad networks or brokers. Period.
  • You're in control. Want your account and data erased? Just ask, and we'll purge it within 7 business days.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

2. Full Privacy Policy

This Policy describes how Zik AI Radio ("we", "our", "the Station", or "the Operator") handles your information. By creating an account or accessing the stream, you agree to the minimal practices below.

2.1 Information We Collect

We purposefully restrict our data pipeline to protect your digital footprint. We process only:

  • Account Credentials: your sign-up and login email address.
  • Artist Metadata: the artist name, track titles, lyrics, or voice intros you voluntarily supply when uploading content.
  • Technical Interaction Data: basic logs needed for our voting/ranking mechanics to prevent abuse — including hashed IP and device signals used to detect bots and duplicate voting. We store these in hashed form, not as raw addresses.

2.2 Infrastructure & Third-Party Processors

We rely on a small set of trusted, enterprise-grade providers to run the platform. We share only what each one needs to do its job:

  • Supabase — authentication and database. Your login email and auth state are securely processed and isolated; passwords are salted and encrypted at the database level, and the Operator cannot view your raw password.
  • Cloudflare R2 — object storage for uploaded audio (tracks and voice intros).
  • Zoho Mail — sending our functional email updates; receives your email address to deliver them.
  • Vercel — website hosting and delivery.

We do not sell or rent your data, and we don't use third-party advertising or tracking networks.

2.3 How We Use Your Information (and Our Legal Basis)

We reject predatory tracking. We use your information only for core functionality:

  • To verify your identity and manage secure account authorization.
  • To enforce fair-play rules, like the "one track every 14 days" schedule and anti-bot voting checks.
  • To send functional emails, including airtime schedules and broadcast digests.

Where data-protection law (such as the GDPR) applies, we rely on: performance of our agreement with you (running your account and the service), our legitimate interests (keeping the platform safe and spam-free), and your consent where you give it (for example, optional emails you can switch off).

2.4 Your Data Rights

Whether you reside in Israel, the European Union (GDPR), or the United States, we honor transparent data-access rights. You have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the data we hold connected to your email account.
  • Rectify — correct inaccurate profile details or meta tags.
  • Be Forgotten — request total erasure of your login profile and data assets.

To exercise any of these, email zik@zikairadio.com. Upon a verified request, we will scrub your records from our active environment within 7 business days.

2.5 Data Retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. When you ask us to delete your account, or close it, we erase your personal data from our active environment within 7 business days. Note that, as described in our Terms (§3.7), already-scheduled program blocks or past broadcast archives containing an uploaded track may be retained as-is, while no future programming will pull the file.

2.6 Cookies & Local Storage

We keep this simple. We use only what's necessary to make the site work:

  • Essential login cookies set by Supabase to keep you signed in.
  • Local storage for an anonymous voter identifier, so our charts and ratings stay fair.

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers.

2.7 Age Requirement

Zik AI Radio is not directed at children. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use interactive features. If we learn we've collected data from someone under 16, we'll delete it.

2.8 Security Measures (Alpha Disclaimer)

We deploy standard security wrappers around our infrastructure. However, because Zik AI Radio operates an experimental Alpha MVP framework, no internet transmission method is completely infallible. We strive to protect your information, but participation during this early stage is at your own discretion (see Terms §6).

2.9 Who Runs Zik AI Radio

Zik AI Radio is operated by Yariv, as an individual sole operator (no company entity at this stage). For any privacy question, data request, or erasure, contact zik@zikairadio.com. This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Israel.

2.10 Policy Revisions

As we scale from Alpha to production, we may update this Policy to account for new features. Any material structural updates will be communicated to your registered account email.
