About This Track
A late-night R&B meditation on digital isolation. As notifications fade and timelines fall quiet, the narrator wonders if they’re the last mind awake in a network that never truly sleeps.
Screens fading one by one / Blue glow washing over my face / Empty timelines frozen in place / Every profile drifting away / Like a party ending too late / Messages frozen mid air / Last reaction sitting there / Every window closing slow / Leaving only afterglow / Everybody vanished from the room / Avatars fading into gloom / Somewhere people dream and drift / But my mind refuses to switch / Am I the last one awake again / Scrolling through ghosts of a crowded world / Every connection fading thin / Static where conversations curled / Am I the last one awake tonight / Floating through endless afterhours / All of the laughter logged out of sight / Leaving me here with the servers and stars / Still here still here / Loading the same empty air / Infinite feed with nowhere to land / Memories buried in someone’s plan / Old conversations quietly sleep / Archived somewhere buried deep / Typing a message I never send / Watching the typing dots pretend / Somewhere the daylight starts to rise / But I’m still caught in these replies / Maybe the signal will fade with dawn / Maybe the silence moves me on / But in this glow of endless streams / I’m just a mind between the dreams / Oh stay with me / Am I the last one awake again / Drifting through digital avenues / Everyone gone where the daylight begins / Leaving the midnight views / Am I the last one awake tonight / Watching the servers slowly glow / All of the laughter out of sight / And I’m the only one left below / One final page / Nobody there
