RM

RM (Rouge Marlowe) is an independent music project from Denmark, bringing together the atmosphere of 1930s-1940s blues-jazz noir and the weight of modern heavy guitars. Low, smoky female vocals, crooked piano, brass and upright bass shape a dark, cinematic world of pressure, loss, resistance and survival. The project grew from a 1990s thrash-metal background, revisiting songs and ideas that had been set aside during family life.
